Tentative schedule
Div 13 Virtual School
Some people need to have a schedule to feel secure and comfortable. This schedule is only to be used if it works with your family's schedule and your access to the technology and internet if needed. Please pick and choose and adapt as you need. If you need more outside time, take it. If its okay with your family to sleep in and to work later or in the evening, go ahead. Being at home means you can choose your schedule, but I want you to check in with your family about what works best. Have questions? contact me!
8:00 -9:00 | Breakfast - and yes! get out of your pajamas!
Make your bed, do any chores, pet your cat, dog, lizard, or turtle! We know that youth need more sleep so take it. But we also know that regular routines and getting dressed will help you fill your time.
9:00 - 10:00 | Reading (or listening)
Choose a book to read or listen to a book on tape. I will attach a list of good books for middle students and link to Audible.com's free books for students site.

10:30 - 11:00 | Journal Writing
I know that we are spending a lot of time in front of the computer screen, but this portion of the day can be safely spent with paper and a pencil. Write a letter to someone, write a story, argue an opinion. If you are having trouble getting started, here is a website with some ideas.
